At Dennington Hall Farms, we see the future of farming not as a choice between productivity and sustainability—but as a chance to do both, better. We’re working to create a thriving, modern rural estate—one that produces food with integrity, restores the land it relies on, and offers meaningful value to the people and communities around it.
We manage 1,800 hectares in east Suffolk through a combination of owned land, Farming Business Tenancies (FBTs), and contract farming agreements. As a multi-generational family farm, we’re building on a long tradition of commercial farming while actively evolving toward regenerative, resilient, and environmentally responsible practices.
We grow combinable crops and sugar beet at scale while integrating native Red Poll cattle, cover crops, grazing livestock, and wild venison into the rotation. Meat from the estate is sold direct to local customers—with full traceability, minimal food miles, and a deep respect for the animals and ecosystems involved.
Alongside farming, the estate includes a diversified rural enterprise: residential and commercial property, habitat creation for Biodiversity Net Gain, forestry, renewable energy, and hospitality at Bruisyard Country Estate.
We work closely with landowners and industry players through long-term partnerships, and we’re proud to share our learning as an AHDB Monitor Farm—welcoming schools, businesses, and the wider community to explore how farming can evolve together.
