In 2020, amid the Covid pandemic, I joined The Superior Group (TSG), as Safety Manager for a large data center in Central Ohio. TSG is an electrical contractor with a focus on mission critical/data center work, commercial, industrial, educational, and institutional construction. I currently manage a team of seven safety and health professionals on the data center campus. My passion is keeping people safe and healthy through proactive efforts and creative problem solving.
I also direct TSG's workers' compensation program, managing claims to keep workers "on the job," and implementing cost control strategies such as those through the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC).
In my "spare" time, I also represent DeWerth Safety Services, a full-service safety and health consulting firm, specializing in the construction industry. Founded in 2017, the firm provides accident prevention, OSHA compliance and risk control services. These services include needs assessments, program development, training, customized tool-box talks, workplace audits/inspections, and OSHA representation.
I have over 30 years experience in the construction safety field and am excited to share my knowledge and dedication to team members and organizations.
