The Open Water Rescue Cross Training Initiative will provide a comprehensive and unified emergency rescue "TEAM". This "TEAM" provides First Responder rescue and initial standard first aid victims of accidents occurring in offshore water and/or Inland Bays. This "TEAM" includes certified open water rescue lifeguards and the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit. The rescue response will also include assistance from local fire rescue, Coast Guard and Paramedics.
