At Dhanak of Humanity, we believe in a world where love transcends barriers of caste, religion, and societal restrictions. As a survivor-led organization, we provide legal, emotional, and social support to individuals facing natal family violence, honor-based crimes, and forced separations. We also work for minors in need, collaborating with CWCs, providing them with education and legal aid, skill development, counselling and empowerment.
Our Work:
✔ Legal & Psychosocial Support – Assisting interfaith & intercaste couples in navigating legal complexities and securing their rights.
✔ Awareness & Advocacy – Driving conversations around honor crimes, gender justice, and the right to choose.
✔ Safe Spaces & Shelter Support – Ensuring security for those escaping violence or threats.
✔ Community Engagement – Working at grassroots and policy levels to challenge oppressive social structures.
✔Working with two primary categories of vulnerable children-
a) Children in Need of Care and Protection (CNCP): who may be orphaned, abandoned, neglected, or survivors of abuse, exploitation, or violence.
b) Children of Incarcerated Parents (COIP): minors who come in contact with the juvenile justice system.
✔Centre for Learning and Empowerment- We believe that education and skill-building are key to breaking cycles of poverty, neglect, and exploitation. We break this cycle through our dedicated Centre at Chilla Gaon and Trilokpuri.
