Dhanak Paathshala Overview

Dhanak’s (Registered Under Indian Trust Act 1882, Reg. No. 1647 as the name DHANAK THE RAINBOW) primary aim is to help underprivileged children of our country who due to various circumstances could not afford the right to education, by providing them with free basic education by running open classroom sessions and a school-like teaching program called “Dhanak Paathshala” for primary classes in Vasundhara for underprivileged children where we are making sure that no child in the area is illiterate. We have hired teachers and work with volunteers to survey, admit and teach children in the region. Classes are from 9 AM to 1 PM with subjects ranging from Mathematics, Hindi, English, EVS, Crafts, Games, Music and Dance. Secondarily, we work to improve our society by doing various cultural and awareness programs in the field of health, environment, and education. Weekly tree plantation, inspirational movie screenings, street plays, yoga events to name a few such events.
