Diabetic Cats in Need is the only organization in North America that is dedicated to helping diabetic cats and their owners. We strive to help low-income owners of diabetic cats as well as shelters and rescues that are caring for diabetic cats. We primarily help with insulin, testing supplies, and education but also can assist with catastrophic veterinary bills, euthanasia and cremation, and transportation to an adoptive home.
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our activities are primarily funded through donations, fundraisers, t-shirt sales, and our annual events such as our calendar sale and sock fundraiser.
Our board and staff members are 100% non-compensated volunteers. Everyone that works with DCIN does it out of the kindness of their hearts. Every penny of donated money goes right back to helping diabetic cats in need.
While we mostly help cats in the USA, we also help a good number of cats in Canada. We have also helped cats in Argentina, Mexico, England, Scotland, United Arab Emirates, and South Korea.
