Dicronite® is a Tungsten Disulfide (ws2) coating. It is applied with a high velocity impingement process at one of our 11 worldwide application facilities.
Requiring no cure time, binders, adhesives or carriers, Dicronite® provides an ultra-low coefficient of friction with a maximum thickness of 0.5 microns.
Dicronite® was originally developed for NASA's space exploration program, where reduction of friction and wear in harsh environments was essential. The coating is now utilized across various industries including: automotive, medical, plastics, food processing, energy, semiconductor, general industrial, and manufacturing.
