The project on olfactory digitization was initiated by Prof. Marvin Edeas, Université de Paris, in March 2012, in order to highlight and exploit a world unknown so far. The olfaction and olfactory receptors are a fantastic topic in health and medicine. The relationship of all these receptors in our skin, gut, nose,…attracted our attention. How to activate them and why ?
Digital Olfaction Society, with its president Prof. Jesús Lozano Rogado, has the following objectives:
-Exploit the advances of digital olfaction Research & Development
-Consider the practical applications of digital olfaction
-Project these applications to daily life to measure their impact on our lifestyle
-Discuss the impact of such applications on the consumers of these new products
-Assume and deal with the possible limitations related to the entry of digital olfaction into the above-mentioned sections.
