DIONYSOS SATELLITE OBSERVATORY

Dionysos Satellite Observatory (DSO) actively contributes to the teaching and research programs at the NTUA's School of Rural Surveying Engineering, specializing in geodesy and satellite geodesy. We foster collaborations with Greek and international research centers, academic institutions, and scientific bodies. DSO specializes in GNSS and DORIS research, with a focus on precise orbit determination. Operating a GNSS permanent station in Greece, we monitor crustal deformation and engage in satellite altimetry research. Additionally, our contributions extend to maritime geodesy and navigation through GNSS applications. DSO has also established an automated processing system for daily analysis of all operational continuous GNSS stations in Greece. This ongoing analysis has provided valuable insights into Greece's intricate tectonic settings.
