Director Kobayashi was founded by Gianfranco Gaioni in 2007.
Defined by many as a cutting edge live action / animation / VFX director, Gianfranco has more than 15 years of professional experience working in Advertising, Visual Effects, Photography and Animation and has won some of the industries’ most prestigious awards.
Among others his clients include Yamaha, Sony, Samsung, Diesel, Toyota, Unilever, P&G, Enel, Italian Railways, Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT, McCann, BBDO, TBWA.
He spent his entire life developing a frenzied love for moving images, music and every form of art. Despite his numerous awards, enjoying his work and infusing raw energy into all of his projects has been his best and career-long achievement.
Gianfranco has been a key speaker at events like Offf, Cinesummit, Pause Fest and Kuala Lumpur Design Week and he has been featured in many well-known design and advertising magazines such as 3D World, CG Plus, Brand Republic, GoMotion Magazine and many others.
You’ve probably already experienced some of Kobayashi’s astounding work in blockbuster movies like The Golden Compass and Hellboy 2 or in TV ads for Smirnoff Black, Toyota and Sony Bravia, to mention a few.
