As a group of professionals from Sri Lanka’s leading technology-driven companies and Academia, we have committed time, effort, and energy towards driving solidarity in diversity and inclusion. We have launched a series of programs driving Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace and Academia, to bring awareness and towards building a community of professionals advocating multi diversity facets to the forefront.
Our organization DCLK, is under the patronage of several leading industry bodies including The Sri Lanka Association of Software and Service Companies (SLASSCOM https://slasscom.lk/), and FITIS that is the leading representative body for the local IT and BPM sectors and the need for an initiative such as this in Sri Lanka was initially raised by the Asian Development Bank, with Export Development Bank, Sri Lanka as the nodal agency. DCLK as a formal organization inaugurated after a series of brainstorming and kickoff events hosted by PwC Sri Lanka along with many leading professionals invited to contribute to this effort.
