In the mids of 2006, Djokdja Batik & Handicraft was conceived in South Jakarta as a mini shop distributing Batik Womenswear, Menswear, Kidswear and Home Accessories. Fast forward in November 2012, our main operation relocated to Jogjakarta and we shifted our primary product to batik handbag production. Also right at the same time, we launched our online shop.
As a bagmaker, we are proud to be based in Jogjakarta, a community-minded city with a strong cultural legacy. We stand for the preservation of Indonesian Batik and the beauty of craftsmanship. We carefully select the Batik Pattern and leather type that we want to combine. Quality, simplicity and worth are the core elements that we trace from the product.
One of the trade exhibitions that we participated was Pameran Produk Dalam Negeri 2014 held by Trade Ministry and took place in National Monument (Monas). Our Batik Bags were also featured in Monoco, Japan's online fashion retailer.
