Dunne Mitchell Aikman was established in 1985 as the successor in Scotland to McBains. The company can trace its roots to the firm of John McBain, Quantity Surveyors (London, 1926), James Shankely, Quantity Surveyors (Aberdeen, 1946) and John Dunne, Quantity Surveyors (Dundee, 1964). Dunne Mitchell Aikman has now become DMA Partnership. We are a Chartered Quantity Surveying firm who offer Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Employer’s Agent services to clients in both the public and private sector throughout the UK. We have a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from urban regeneration schemes comprising public sector and private residential developments, to commercial developments including student accommodation, offices, sports facilities, cinemas, retail parks, and supermarkets. DMA offer a range of both pre-contract and post contract services from providing early preliminary cost advice to concluding final accounts on the developments embarked upon.
