Vores beslutning om at skabe en organisation for miljøterapeutisk arbejde udspringer af vores fælles menneskesyn, værdier og syn på, hvordan man kan skabe en god tilværelse og udvikling for børn, unge og voksne, der har psykiske vanskeligheder at arbejde med. På trods af, at det er en større organisation, er alle enheder kendetegnet ved at leve op til vores ønske om anerkendelse, nærhed, trivsel og udvikling for de børn, unge og voksne der bor i DMO samt alle andre omkring os. Det er dét, og ikke organisationen størrelse, som vi gerne vil måles på. Sammen med vores gode medarbejdere ønsker vi at drive en organisation, der har overskud og ressourcer til at arbejde med vores tilbud og metoder. Vi ønsker at skabe de bedste rammer omkring dem der bor I DMO, såvel som medarbejdere. Vi bestræber os på, at alle deltager i relevante faglige, og fagligt udviklende, sammenhænge. Den Miljøterapeutiske Organisation rummer børne- og ungehjem, botilbud, behandlings- og specialundervisningstilbud samt STU. Skolerne arbejder tæt sammen med alle vores egne tilbud, andre børne- og ungehjem, plejefamilier og familier til børn og unge som bor hjemme, men som har brug for den særlige behandlings- og undervisningsramme, som vores skoler kan tilbyde.
