Nisheeta Keni and Karan Konde met at Whistling Woods International where they were pursuing direction and producing respectively. Nisheeta's diploma film 'Phoolpakhru' is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar. Within a year out of college, they made Bogda, a Marathi language film which Nisheeta wrote, directed and also produced along with Karan. The film released theatrically and subsequently streamed on Netflix for three years. It is currently streaming on Zee5. Post Bogda, they co-founded Dragon Water Films, the name being a hat-tip to their mutual interest in fantasy. DWF began with line-producing a short film for Vikramaditya Motwane 'Khabsurat' which was screened at DIFF. They then co-produced 'Mann Kasturi Re' which was Tejasswi Prakash's film debut and released it in theatres. It is currently streaming on PrimeVideo. Next they created and produced a one of a kind game show set in Thailand called 'Tic Tac Go'. They ventured into Hindi films and All-India distribution with Minus-31-The Nagpur Files. It is now streaming on Prime Video. Apart from this, DWF has produced a number of advertisements for esteemed clients like Swarovski, Godrej, Prudent, Google, Youtube, Atlas Copco etc.
