The Driven Education Foundation is a foundation started by BIPOC students who currently attend a Primarily White Institution with few people of color. The job of DEF is to expose minority students to independent educational opportunities to allow them to have the option to attend these schools. As DEF has seen, students who participate in public schools, charter schools, and METCO schools have yet to learn about independent schools and the opportunities that they open. DEF will allow these disadvantaged students to visit separate school campuses and let them get a feel of what it's like and what programs they can join and be interested in.
