Drone Rescue Systems is developing automatic ultra-light parachute safety systems for commercial drones. Our mission is to enable drone operations by decreasing the risk of severe drone accidents. Our systems are designed to protect people on the ground, the equipment in the air, and meet the latest requirements by aviation authorities like the FAA or EASA. The company was founded in 2017 in the city of Graz, Austria and has since attracted an incredible team of talents and shown a remarkable success record. Drone Rescue Systems has won numerous tech and aviation business awards including the ESNC award and was incubated in the prestigious ESA-BIC as first pick. It was also the first company that passed ASTM-F3322-18 (Standard Specification for Small Unmanned Aircraft SystemParachutes) for a drone with a MTOW of 16 kg (DJI-M600). Besides many successful system integrations with drone manufacturers around the world, we are also officially partnered with Auterion and support large scale delivery projects.
