Pension Insurance Company “DSK-Rodina” was founded in 1997. The main shareholder in the company is DSK Bank (with 99.85%). Currently DSK Bank is 99,92% owned by the Hungarian OTP Bank. Currently PIC “DSK-Rodina” is the only company on the Bulgarian market to offer full range of pension products. The mission of PIC “DSK-Rodina” and the pension funds managed by the Company has been: based on the capital accumulation to provide additional pension income to its clients in the conditions of demographic crisis. As of September 30th 2024, the total number of insured individuals in the four pension funds of PIC “DSK-Rodina” accounted for 996 896 and the accumulated net assets exceeded BGN 5,250 billion. The Company holds position N2 in terms of assets under management and number of clients in the Supplementary Compulsory Pension Insurance and position N3 in the pension insurance market in Bulgaria.
