About Us
The SMART Project is a nonprofit social impact initiative dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable individuals and underserved communities across Oyo State, Nigeria, and beyond. Since our inception in 2020, we have been at the forefront of poverty alleviation, health promotion, quality education, gender equality, clean water access, and social inclusion which are all guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
What We Do
We empower children, youth, women, the elderly, and people with disabilities in rural and marginalized communities through impactful programs, including:
Community Health Initiatives (free medical outreaches, health education, menstrual hygiene awareness)
Educational Support (school supplies, scholarships, mentorship, and infrastructure improvements)
Clean Water & Sanitation Projects (construction of wells and sanitation facilities)
Economic Empowerment (vocational training, small business support, and startup funding)
Civic Engagement & Peace Advocacy (campaigns against electoral violence, civic education)
