Nrityangana DTU is the official student-led Indian Dance (classical and cultural) society of Delhi Technological University (Formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering). It is a close-knit group of dancers ranging in all sorts of abilities, from those who have never even done dancing, to those that are near experts. Nrityangana performs a wide range of dance styles, from Indian Classical (such as Kathak, Bharatnatyam, and Odissi) to Indian Folk (such as Ghoomar, Laavni, and Garba), as well as Semi-Classical and Bollywood.
Established in 2013, it has been thriving ever since. As of today, it stands stronger than ever with its 30+ member strong team comprising students of all genders and spanning all branches and courses offered at the University.
Nrityangana organizes Anushthaan, a Flagship annual event under the banner of Engifest, the Cultural Festival of DTU as well as performs in many international conferences. Nrityangana has been a fundraiser for an NGO as well.
