The Dual Ice Development Society, also known as D.I.D.S. Is made up of an executive board of 9 individuals and an unlimited number of committee members.
With the Town of Blackfalds slating $12 million dollars in their proposed 2021 budget our growing community will see a second indoor ice surface within approximately 4 years. The sole purpose of DIDS is to fundraise $1 million dollars to help finalize the embellishments within the facility. D.I.D.S will help to bring items to the second arena such as optimal seating, score boards, upgraded dressing rooms, and community use spaces such as boardrooms to encourage other groups to make use of the space.
