Dubai Down Syndrome Centre (DDSC) was born with the idea to offer individuals with Down Syndrome a unique, special and safe environment of learning. We are specialized and dedicated organization that provides essential support, resources, and services to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. We focus on independence, life / social skills, confidence, self-esteem and preparation for adulthood. We created a safe and secure environment for our students to strive day by day. Our team of Special Educators are behavior trained therapists who provide care, security and an individual support to our students daily. Our learning environment is designed to meet the individual goals and objectives of students and to facilitate their development through age-appropriate activities. Individualized program is made for every students based on The Assessment of Functional Living Skills and our activities are designed to focus on life skills subjects, integrated academics, and social and communication skills.
