The Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040 is a comprehensive development plan with the vision of being “The Best City For Living In The World” and to reinforce Dubai’s competitiveness as a global destination for citizens, residents, and visitors. The plan Is inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and was approved in March 2021. With the emirate’s population expected to reach 5.8 million in the next two decades, the plan is human-centric and builds upon the principles of sustainable development and economic prosperity.
