Dunhill Multi-Education Centre is a community owned education, training & conference centre in rural Waterford. Guided by the principles of Access, Opportunity and Excellence, the mission of the centre is to provide a hub of learning excellence, to create opportunities for people to succeed and facilitate access to education for all groups. Funded by Pobal under the Community Services Programme, the centre also provides meeting space and other services to the community, including a Community Garden and library facility. Management of the centre is coordinated by a huge voluntary effort, with Board of directors, development committees and volunteers that provide expertise in business operation and volunteer tutors/lecturers. The centre has worked with local Education & Training Boards on a number of projects including sponsoring the Tourism Trails with Smart Media programme, and currently sponsors a number of community with WWETB.
