Dunscar Bridge Brewery is a microbrewery on the edge of the West Pennines in Lancashire.
We started life in 2009 with our small 4.5 brewers’ barrel brewery situated in the Brewhouse Pub in Dunscar with a simple ethos to produce interesting and exciting full flavoured hand-crafted ales, using only the finest malt and hops.
In May 2012 under the watchful eye of head brewer Doug Baxendale and guidance from professional brewing consultant Peter Laws production was up scaled to our 25 brewers’ barrel plant situated in the former Dunscar Bleachworks.This fine stone building is a legacy from the industrial revolution; an era of great creativity, innovation and massive productivity.
We are proud of our heritage and when producing our beers, to exacting standards, we aim to harness the strengths and acknowledge the legacy our ancestors gave us. We are a vibrant, passionate brewery proud of our past and excited about the future.
