Our Vision: The Dustin Duncan Research Foundation is a family research foundation unapologetically dedicated to bold social justice and health equity research with and for marginalized populations and communities (e.g., sexually minoritized people, gender minoritized people, racially minoritized people, people living in poverty, and people living with physical and mental health issues seen and unseen).
We focus on two primary issues related to social justice: 1) discrimination, harassment, bullying, trauma and resilience related to health equity; and 2) mental health and related burdens including psychological distress, depression and suicidality related to health equity. We especially focus on the intersection of these topics, issues, populations and communities. It is our expectation that our action-oriented research portfolio will lead to evidence-based policy changes.
