The Dutch Hydrogen Delta has the objective to scale up the electrolyser manufacturing industry in The Netherlands. A consortium has been formed of 12 companies, creating an ecosystem in the Port of Rotterdam around the electrolyser technology from Battolyser Systems. As part of the ecosystem the full supply chain for electrolysers shall be developed up to a capacity of 1GW per year in the M4H area in Rotterdam, including the development of a hydrogen startup incubator and an extensive human capital agenda to train the engineers and operators of the future.
The Dutch Hydrogen Delta was first created as part of the National Growth Fund subsidy to jointly build this new industry in The Netherlands and supply sufficient electrolysers and knowledge to meet the ambitions of the Dutch Government.
