De zorg loopt vast. De hele Nederlandse samenleving wordt hierdoor geraakt. De tekorten aan zorgprofessionals nemen hand over hand toe door een beperkte opleidingscapaciteit en een grote uitstroom.
Al een aantal jaren worden acties uitgezet op o.a. regionaal niveau om de opleidingscapaciteit te vergroten en de uitstroom te reduceren. Echter wordt hierin een grens bereikt die o.a. gelinkt is aan het beschikbare leervolume en de beschikbare begeleidingscapaciteit in de beroepspraktijk. Daarom is DUTCH (Digital United Training Concepts for Healthcare) gestart.
* DUTCH voegt een disruptieve innovatie toe, welke de partners alleen in landelijke samenwerking van de grond willen en kunnen krijgen.
* DUTCH is een collectief van Universitair Medische Centra (umc’s), opleidingsinstellingen, topklinische en algemene ziekenhuizen, (technische) universiteiten en publieke en private partijen binnen Educational Technology (EdTech) en Medical Technology (MedTech).
* DUTCH beoogt een transformatie van scholing, bij- en omscholing van zorgprofessionals door middel van schaalbare digitale leermiddelen en fysieke en virtuele simulatie.
DUTCH propagates a disruptive transformation of training and lifelong learning of healthcare professionals by developing and implementing XR digital and simulated learning resources. The DUTCH collective bundles forces of university medical centers, academies, colleges and all nine training regions of the Netherlands while partnering with educational technology (EdTech) and medical technology (MedTech) partners.
