Established in 1995, Earthbags is an award-winning manufacturer and exporter of sustainable, eco-friendly, and handcrafted jute and cotton bags. For 25 years, our reusable and trendy bags have found partners and customers in 6 continents and 60 countries. These ‘Earthbags’ are entirely handcrafted and play a very important role in the exports of the Handicrafts sector of India. We are experienced at customizing designs basis any requirement and cost.
Our mission:
At Earthbags’, it’s all about saving the planet one bag at a time. In a world overwhelmed by plastic, we aim to make available the highest quality, eco-friendly jute, and cotton bags at attainable prices that are fun yet responsible.
Our Green Facility:
We manufacture the “Earthbags” at our IGBC-Certified Gold Rated Green Building, which is a Socially and C-TPAT compliant unit with an in-house capacity of 3.6 M bags per year. We believe in sustainability across our process and products, hence, our 50,000 sq. ft. factory boasts of solar power plants, an effluent treatment plant, energy-saving machines, a rainwater harvesting system, led lights, and less water consuming plants & trees.
With these green changes, we have been able to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, releases safe water to our environment through ETP, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and save millions of gallons of potable water each year, thus, helping combat the urgent climate change crisis.
