TERMINAL OF THE 21th CENTURY - The largest and most modern inland transshipment hub in Europe - The East-West Gate inland intermodal terminal operates at the junction of standard and broad-gauge railways on the Hungarian-Ukrainian border. We handle transshipment between trains with different gauges as well as between rail and road vehicles, including the transfer of grain and crude oil. Our 5G-controlled cranes, operated remotely, are capable of handling specialized materials. We are leaders in adopting cutting-edge technologies for efficient and environmentally friendly operations. We are committed to contributing to the development of the region. Our own railway company, EWG Rail Plc, has a valid license for the entire railway network in Hungary, and provides services to customers with its own locomotives and wagons. We have our own customs agency at the terminal, which provides fullscale customs services: customs clearance, temporary storage, customs warehousing in open and closed areas. The East-West Intermodal Logistics Service Private Limited Company was founded on June 1, 2018.
