The Eastern Powerhouse (EPH) is an independent membership body which for the first-time platforms the whole of the East as a single interconnected region, encompassing its coastal towns, rural villages, and world-class cities. The Main aim is to drive economic growth, further invest in skills, innovation, transport and raise productivity across the entire East of England.
Working across political parties with Ministers, local MPs and local authority leaders, the Eastern Powerhouse is mobilising a singular regional parliamentary voice. Our core mission is to seek positive policy, legislation and regulation change at local, national and international levels. This can only be achieved by bringing public and private partnerships together. We will showcase the region’s untapped potential to make the strategic case to government for investment in this burgeoning economic powerhouse. The exceptional strength of the Powerhouse is understanding that business is local, but our reach can be global.
