EAT by AMY is a plant-based bakery based in North London. Founder-baker, Amy Gastman, learned to bake during the first lockdown back in March 2020. Prior to this EAT by AMY was a vegan meal prep service, specialising in savoury food.
Before becoming a business owner, Amy started her career as editorial assistant at Waitrose Food magazine, where she worked for four years travelling the world and eating yummy food. She left in 2018 to embark on a masters in the Anthropology of Food, and this is when EAT by AMY was born. Since then the business has evolved, expanding into vegan bakes, supper clubs and event catering.
The ethos behind the brand is to provide good food which happens to be vegan - not good vegan food. EAT by AMY makes eats and treats that are delicious in their own right, being plant-based is an added bonus.
