Partners Ana Simon & Rafael Pedroso started Sabor de Vida as a way to bring the amazing tastes of Brazilian BBQ to the masses. Ana and Rafael, both native of Porte Alegre, Brazil had grown up with the amazing taste of Brazilian BBQs since their were children, but hadn’t realized how many Americans would LOVE the food. Wendy Snyder, originally from Maryland and one of the original founders and the couple best friends, felt in love with the food after just a few barbeques & knew others just like her, who had not tasted those flavors & style of BBQ before, needed to experience it! After a few months of kicking around the idea, they decided to form Sabor De Vida to see what kind of events & responses they would get. Just as they anticipated, reactions were impressive to say the least! Patrons loved the uniqueness of the food & the incredible tastes of the meat. Before long, they had return customers & raving fans.
