The public institution Environmental Centre for Administration and Technology (ECAT) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 1997. We were among the first in Lirhuania to promote the ideas of sustainable development and to implement its principles in municipalities. Our work focuses on waste management, public environmental education, water protection, air pollution, climate change, noise, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable consumption. By assessing the global impact of our actions, we strive to create a sustainable environment around us. What we preach and teach, we also practice in our daily operations!
Our mission is to strive for a better quality of life by integrating environmental aspects into the everyday decisions of government and society, and by applying the principles of sustainable development.
