The Eco-Trust Society is an Environmental group in the University of Guyana, based in the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences (formerly School of Earth and Environmental Sciences).

The Eco-Trust Society strives to equip our members with valuable experience, a strong ethical outlook, and intellectual fulfillment from our societal activities. We encourage all University students, from any degree or discipline, to help us in addressing local environmental and sustainability issues that relate to wider problems in the Guyanese society.
The Eco Trust Guyana environmental club was founded in 1992 and was resuscitated in 2005 by an executive body consisting of Michelle Chow (President), Joanne Ford (Vice President), George Watkins (Public Relations Officer) and Joel Chase (Secretary/Treasurer). Since then it has been involved in a number of activities (both as host and participant) and workshops in the past years.
