ECTA is the association of European manufacturers of cutting tools and clamping technology. As a central platform, it connects companies in the industry and their national associations. Among other activities, ECTA promotes the exchange of information on current economic and political issues and organizes annual conferences for this purpose: The WCTC - World Cutting Tools Conference takes place every three years in co-operation with partner associations in Japan and the USA. In the years in between, ECTA invites the industry to participate in the ECTC - European Cutting Tools Conference.
