EDC BIT SATHY

Udyami- Entrepreneurship Development Cell and startup Park of BIT continuously supports students, faculty and public for the promotion of entrepreneurship through various activities. As per the guidelines of AICTE, this center has formulated BIT NISP policy to promote and strengthen the startups. Based on the BIT NISP policy framed, students of BIT were encouraged to take entrepreneurship as their career instead of seeking for a job. EDC was established during 2006 and supported by All India Council for Technical Education under EDC scheme from 2013 to 2021.This cell fosters young minds to trigger their business interests through versatile activities. It focuses on urging the students to think out of the box and strongly believes in the concept of "Live the Vision". It also hopes to spread this message among the student community to make them realize that there is 'life beyond job seeking'. VISION ‣ To kindle entrepreneurship dreams among young minds to take up entrepreneurship as their career. MISSION ‣ To motivate and inspire students to take up the challenge of entrepreneurship ‣ To equip them with necessary skills and provide all possible assistance. ‣ Promote creative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset among the students. ‣ Promote innovations and help convert them into market accepted products
