Tutoring is one of the most viable tools of transferring and impacting knowledge either through four walls of learning institution or virtually which has become irreplaceable way; especially during the pandemic season which has forever changed the definition of learning.
Learning in African parlance is not quite different because you learn via community from greetings to mannerism and respect. Most importantly education was prioritize by paying for extra tutors to take care of student deficiencies in mathematics, English language, chemistry, physics etc by our parents despite the fact that we attend extra mural classes, our parents still pay for extra tutoring for Mathematics, I remember vividly I myself and my brother were doing 3 days a week at the height of darkness(No electricity) in order to excel in Mathematics for our high school diploma.
In the same vein, the community that we live in in United states where learning can be a difficult task especially for struggling kids in mathematics and also lack of parental involvement in learning can drastically affect performance in this core subject if proper arrangement is not followed.
