George Edwards founded the business in 1922 as stonemasons and was succeeded by George Edwards junior who founded the slate and stone tile industry in Australia. The company tradition is now carried on by Steven Edwards who is proud to uphold the founding traditions of service, honesty and value for money.
We are Melbourne's largest importer of natural stone tiles/pavers and our warehouse team packs our goods for transport anywhere in Victoria, including Ballarat, Bendigo, Castlemaine and Geelong.We deliver to all Melbourne metro areas and to depots for our country customers.
Our 4WD forklift can place your delivery almost anywhere, increasing security of your goods rather than leaving your order on the nature strip. In addition, by placing goods close to the area to be paved reduces the requirement to lift heavy goods a long distance (your tiler will be grateful).
