EFAB started with the initiative of
Isadora Costa and Ismael Teixeira to teach free
English to low-income youth in the state of Sao
Paulo, Brazil. The project started with 10
students and a few months ago the number of
students in class rose to 200 students. Other
needs arose, and soon we started signal
language and adult writing classes.
Our mission is to help our young people
and non-privileged people through the
language studies to get job opportunities and
help the social development of their families.
Our vision is that through collective help
we can together build a much better world in
the coming years.
Through our VISION we believe these young
people, in addition to becoming great
professionals, will have shielded themselves
against drugs and violence to which they are
exposed daily.
EFAB is made by the willingness of teachers, we grow as an
organization but we are still informal as an association or NGO.
Our biggest challenge now is to formalize our project and become
an association, aiming to bring complementary education to less
privileged people, so we have in our radar other states in Brazil and
countries as:

• Mocambique, Africa;
• Angola, Africa;
• Caracas, Venezuela
