Effective altruism is an ongoing research field that aims to find the best ways of having a social impact, guided by the use of evidence and careful reasoning. We ask, "With limited time and money, how can I make the greatest positive impact in this world?"
We are part of a global movement — a community of people who care deeply about the world and make benefiting others a significant part of their lives. We try to figure out how best to do so and act on it through our giving, career, research and other ways of engagement.
