EFS Arts Therapies Overview
Our Vision: EFS works with people who are experiencing challenges and difficulties, using arts therapies to encourage clients to increase self-esteem, hope, social-inclusion, personal growth and development. EFS strives to improve their clients’ emotional wellbeing and psychological health, through challenging isolation and stigmatisation. EFS operates in diverse settings, offering short-term and long-term arts therapy to a wide range of clients. Our aims; -Provide a safe space for clients -Build healthy therapeutic relationships -Explore clients’ difficulties and struggles at a distance which is not too direct -Offer clients the opportunity to feel heard -Allow clients to feel free of the stigma they may feel -Develop skills of social interaction and self-advocacy -Explore and express feelings and emotions -Improve self-belief and confidence EFS Arts Therapies was formed as a direct need for Arts Therapy provision within the United Kingdom. Our services cover groups and one-to-one support located in both community and in-patient settings, to provide outstanding, bespoke provision in the most appropriate setting for each client's specific individual needs.
