Pragnya Mohan's first cycle was a reused one donated by a friend. On this cycle, she went on to represent India in triathlon and has become the highest decorated triathlete in the history of India. More recently, Pragnya qualified for the Paris Olympic Games 2024. Pragnya recognises the opportunity that her own reused cycle gave her, as well as being able to complete her education. She conceived the initiative Ek Beti, Ek Cycle (One Daughter, One Cycle) as a way of helping more girls across India have the same opportunities that she had.
