Elan Exports was established in 2005 with the main objective to be a sourcing agent for Indian manufactured products for distribution and sale in the European market. Worked with one of the largest retailers in Europe, ASW. They, at that time, operated over 1700 multi-branded stores selling consumer products across Europe.
Elan Exports was responsible for sourcing leather, fashion accessories, home furnishing items, and children's garments from India. Managed all order formalities for on-time delivery and quality control was also one of Elan’s core responsibilities.
After working successfully in the export market for over 3 years, Elan was approached by one of the largest Dutch importers in Europe to see if their products could be sold locally in India. Soon Elan found local retail partners and distributors to cater to these wide ranges of products. Elan was tied up with some of the largest retail companies in India like the Landmark Group (India and Dubai), Shoppers Stop, and Future Group to name a few. Elan also worked with several distributors dealing in FMCG product brands like P & G, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, etc. to promote the products.
Elan Exports today focuses on sourcing commodities like Sugar, Rice, Oil, Chickpeas, Nuts, and Flour from Asia for the European Market and also exports eco-friendly products across the globe.
