Organic farming is not just avoiding chemicals. It’s a holistic system of growing and handling food, where all parts of the environment are linked together. Soil, plants, animals, food and people, all play an important role in ecologically sustainable practices. That means stimulating soil life, encouraging natural predators, such as beneficial insects, or planting to suit the season and local environment.
At Eldridge Fresh Organics we focus on consistent quality and extraordinary customer service. To guarantee that products are organic, they need to be certified. We have worked hard to ensure that we comply with the guidelines of organic production. As a result, Eldridge Fresh Organics has been rewarded with the Australian Certified Organic Standard certification (ACO).
The Australian Certified Organic Standard is one of the most respected and rigorous standards in the world for organic production and is published by the organic industry not-for-profit representative group, Australian Organic.
In Australia, specific practices must be implemented and maintained to assure continuous food safety and quality requirements are being met on-farm by growers and grower packers. Therefore, Eldridge Fresh Organics undergo an annual audit for Freshcare Food Safety & Quality Standard certification, so we can assure that our customers receive the best products.
We supply the majority of wholesalers with organic certified products with a vast array of vegetables such as tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, celeries, cauliflower, zucchinis and capsicum. Australia wide, as well as overseas.
