A feather in the cap has been piloting of Thales’s advanced train protection system - European Train Control System (ETCS Level 1) for The Indian Railways. Furthermore, Eldyne has expanded its wide range of Relay production with the best quality “Q” Series Safety Signalling Relays that is manufactured at the Kolkata workshop since 1987. These Relays are all RDSO approved. Being one of the market leaders in country the business is growing exponentially further. We also have Kyosan Japan as our equity partner. This has helped us champion not only much larger projects for our Digital Axle Counter business but also enabled us to explore into the new world of Electronic Interlocking business. A recent endeavour has been in the domain of Internet of Things (IoT) with Jars Kolkata to address the need for shifting to predictive and preventive maintenance from the scheduled maintenance regime, through condition monitoring of any assets, which covers electrical utilities, bridge structures or any kind of equipment or machinery.
