Elevator is a new mobile app designed to help both job seekers and recruiters with the initial hiring process by using video resumes. 1) Job seekers build their simple profile and include a resume if they have one. 2) Job seekers create a 1 minute or less video showcasing their skills, experience and personality. 3) Job seekers can set their video as default to be found by recruiters, and/or can apply directly to job listings with a custom video. 4) Recruiters can swipe through matched job seeker videos to favorite profiles, chat with job seekers, and schedule interviews. 5) Job seekers are contacted by recruiters via in-app chat to schedule an interview. Video cover letters will enhance a job seeker's resume and increase their chances of getting hired. Companies will see a significant improvement in their initial hiring process by reviewing candidates immediate soft skills.
