Dr. Scott is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in women’s, reproductive, and young adult psychiatry.

I take a holistic, neuroscience-informed, and integrated approach to mental health treatment, combining a thorough medical assessment with open-minded listening, psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, and neuroscience-based medication management to help individuals heal, grow, and work toward authentic, value-driven lives.
I completed my undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Omega Alpha, and Gold Humanism honor societies. My husband and I then moved to Nashville, Tennessee where I completed my psychiatry residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in my final year and completing a specialized concentration in women’s mental health and reproductive psychiatry. During this time, I was honored to be chosen as a Laughlin Fellow, National Neuroscience Curriculum Initiative (NNCI) scholar, and Academic Psychiatry Resident Psychiatric Educator awardee for my contributions to psychiatric education and potential within the field.
