Since 01 January 2013, EllGeo Re took over the activities of Willis Re (Mauritius) Ltd, which had been servicing clients in the Indian Ocean Islands and sub-Saharan Africa since 2006 following the acquisition of Reinsurance Consultants and Intermediaries who were established in Mauritius since 2003.
