Managing midlife isn’t exactly a walk in the park, and no one prepares you for how much responsibility comes with being an adult daughter. Between caring for your elder parents, advancing your career, and supporting your children, it can often feel like you’re crushed under the weight of it all… but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Through my strategic family care planning services, I’ll work with you to navigate all the responsibilities that come with being an adult daughter, while keeping your parents’ best interest our top priority.
Some people call me Kathy, some call me Mom, and some (little ones) call me Mimi—but everyone who knows me calls me a relentless optimist. I see the world through smiling eyes, and I live my life on purpose.
For the past two decades, I’ve dedicated my time to improving the quality of life of the families I’m serving; both adult children (mostly Baby Boomers like me!) and their aging parents.
What I’ve learned from life as a Gerontologist—or, to put it more plainly, an expert in the psychosocial aspects of aging—is that life is to be cherished.
Through a power session, 1-to-1 coaching, research and recommendations, and facilitated family conversations, I work with adult children of elder parents to reduce stress, improve care confidence, and find the best possible solutions for the entire family.
